The 2009 Financial Report Of The U.S.
Government Is Out - We are so screwed. . .
With baited breath, we have eagerly anticipated the 2009 Financial Report of the U.S. Government and it has finally been released. What with all the news recently about our miraculous recovery and the great state of or economy, you'd think this would be great news. Not so. . . (Thanks Barry)
The news is not so much good as it is the harbinger of death. Can you say economic Armageddon? Doomsday? Teotwawki? Maybe somewhere in between but still far worse than "The Great Depression"!
This report coupled with recent economic reports on housing, unemployment, etc. clearly demonstrate that our American Way is soon to depart on the Orient Express. Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive. Thank you FED. Thank you BEN and a big round of applause for Obysmal.
The projected expenditures for social/entitlement programs just does not add up. Look at Uncle Sam's assets, cash and other monetary assets, accounts receivable, loans receivable, taxes receivable, Property and more. . . the take I get on this is all bad.
This is a dismal confirmation of what those of us with eyes to see, already knew. More to come, sad to say. The United States government is in a complete financial meltdown. Unsustainable debt and the only answer our elected servants will come up with is to tax us into the ground.
The only problem with that approach is that there just isn't enough money printed to cover the debt they; I say "they" because I had nothing to do with it, incurred over the last 30 years through fraudulent, illegal and immoral banking practices implemented by the passing of laws in congress and senate that enabled the banksters to do the deed.
The U.S. government deficit for 2009; a record-setting 1.417 trillion dollars, is mind boggling. Total liabilities; U.S. Gov., over 12 trillion dollars at the end of 2008 skyrocketed to just over 14 trillion dollars at the end of 2009.
At this rate, the interest alone; not considering paying down the principle, on the national debt and various entitlement programs will suck up virtually every single dollar of federal revenue by the end of the decade. You can just here the wooosh. . . . .
I didn't count how many times the word unsustainable was used by the authors of this report but it is a lot. The conundrum here is that if Uncle Gov. slows down with this hell bent for socialist spending, the very definition of reckless and foolhardy, we will be thrust into the seventh circle of economic hell.
Can you say deflation. How about deflationary depression (maybe for years) and then oppressive Weimar Republic style hyperinflation and an even more hideous and debilitating inflationary depression. Oh My. . .
