Detroit: Muslim Anti-Terror Protest is a Bust: 12 Muslims Show
So out of 40,000 Muslims in Detroit and another 250,000 some thousand in other major cities throughout the US, 12 single, solitary individuals show up to protest terrorism perpetrated by Muslims. Good for them but where in the HELL are the rest of them.Organizers expected hundreds. I would have hoped for thousands of Muslims tired of the killing. Homicide Bombers etc. Like I have said before, Don't believe them, don't trust them, they lie. If the bulk of the Muslim world truly wanted peace, they would have been there.
"This is people from all over Southeast Michigan coming together and saying we're against terrorism. Our message is going to be louder than the message the terrorists have sent. The masses will be speaking," Majed Moughni told Fox 2. (more here)
The New York Times reported that 12 men and women identifying themselves as Detroit-area Muslims showed (I wonder of they inflated it). This despite major publicity and media attention.
Outside court, about a dozen people held up signs reading "Islam is against terrorism" and "Not in the name of Islam."A dozen people in a city whose population boasts more Muslims than virtually any other city. Those moderates .......... you can count them on one finger.
What a huge statement from the Muslim Community!
