What started as Sen. Ben Nelson's personal stand against covering abortion with taxpayer money translated, somehow, into millions of dollars in federal aid for his home state -- drawing criticism that his vote was bought.

Washington pundits are right,   the "cornhusker kickback"is a payola.  Right at the top of the pile.   Graft and corruption stinks to high heaven in this dubious deal.   It doesn't matter weather you pocket the cash or your state does.  Anyway you look at it,  you just "did sex to" everyone in this country without a kiss.   Just a gave all of America a good kick right square in the sex spot.  Thanks for nuthin', sell out.

That is the key. Under Nelson’s compromise, abortion access will fluctuate based on who the President is.

I guess Ben Nelson has no problem with the multi-century history of the feds trying to exterminate Indian populations. Surely Ben Nelson knew what he was agreeing to.

From now on, your state taxes are going to be raised when medicaid costs go up in your state and your federal taxes are going to go up when medicaid costs go up in Nebraska.
