U.S. Economy: Retail Sales, Consumer Confidence Beat Forecasts
By Bob Willis and Vincent Del Giudice
Dec. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Retail sales and consumer confidence in the U.S. increased more than forecast, indicating that economic growth is picking up as the new year approaches.
I believe these are folks having one last hur-rah! I can not see how with unemployment over 20% (Yes really) and mortgage defaults at an all time high, along with bank defaults and the coming residential/commercial implosion along with Dubai and most of Europe ready to puke and these Global Warming parasites.
Just how can one look at this as good news. I would have been much happier to see a positive report on employment, ( a real one) or maybe a drop in mortgage defaults, or even tax breaks but this. . . . This to me is the calm before the storm. This is get it now while you still can.
Hope I'm wrong but I just don't think so.
