Arizona Law Sparks Fears of Racial Profiling

Gov. Jan Brewer signed a bill that requires police to question people about their immigration status -- including asking for identification -- if they suspect someone is in the country illegally. 




I don't want my son or anyone else's son targeted simply because of their physical characteristics," Rios said. "There's no reason I should have to carry around any proof of citizenship, nor my son."




On the surface, one might be tempted to feel sorry for Ms. Rios and her son.   She is technically right.  However, the utter stupidity of political correctness really shines here.    Let's see, Almost to a man or woman, the illegal aliens are. . . . . what?. . .  Mexican.   That would be twenty million of these illegals.  


Taking American's jobs,  stealing American's stuff, robbing Americans, killing Americans,  generally speaking, not all are good honest illegal aliens.  All are criminals to be sure but some are very dangerous criminals, violent gang members, extremely violent drug cartel members, etc.    Americans in boarder states are not the only ones who are tired of putting up with this crap and want it stopped now.   


Profiling is a good thing.    To not profile;   if applied to other illegal activity, would be like the police ignoring weaving drivers because it might be profiling.   Or to ignore people wearing masks and hanging around banks because it might be profiling.    Sorry Ms. Rios,  I have no sympathy for you or your son.  Sorry you are of a racial or ethnic group that is illegally invading our country.   Luck of the draw.

70% of Arizona Voters Favor New State Measure Cracking Down On Illegal Immigration – Rasmussen Reports™

The Arizona legislature has now passed the toughest measure against illegal immigration in the country, authorizing local police to stop and check the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being in the country illegally.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 70% of likely voters in Arizona approve of the legislation, while just 23% oppose it.
